Johannes Tolk is the founder of Resilient Cities, a transdisciplinary network for the development and implementation of new formats to strengthen trust and cooperation between administration, civil society and other stakeholders. Johannes Tolk has been working with his design studio TOLK for 15 years on the design of digital, analog and hybrid narrative structures for conflict resolution, change processes, art and education. This includes communication design, web development and experience design, exhibition and stage design as well as consulting. Tolk's clients are public institutions, universities, museums and NGOs.
Tolks artworks have been shown in exhibitions in the Design Museum Gent, Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, Museum for contemporary art Sofia, Photomuseum Thessaloniki, New Media Meeting Norrköpping, Wyspa Gallery Gdansk and are part of the MoMA Library.
