Martin Barthel is the acting manager of the Comparative Research Network in Berlin. Martins work is focused on co-creating with communities participatory and deliberative democracy approaches with a focus on the JUST transition. He currently is testing co-design processes in Berlin-Wedding with the aim to foster green transition and sustainable lifestyles. He has a specific focus on community narratives and co.designed foresight and future scenarios, connecting the build environment to the emotional environment of the local citizens. In the frame of European Cooperation he managed with his team more than 100 projects on European, National and local level.
